Pipeline Blast at PetroChina's Dalian Refinery

Please be advised that following a pipeline explosion at PetroChina's Dalian refinery, port operations have been temporarily suspended. A clean up operation has started with oil being contained in booms. The oil spill is the largest in Chinese waters and has seriously polluted 11 square kilometres of sea and slightly affected 50 square kilometres of sea.
The airport remains open but this has impacted on ocean and sea-air operations from Dalian.
